Straight out of the box, Jeff (Wings and Wave instructor and NZ Champion) took the Bobcat for a flight, he loved it. See his email and his YouTube below.
"There was little or no wind to speak of but the launch and landing characteristics of the Bobcat were superb.
I did one flight with trimmers on (slow) and the next I launched with trimmers on (almost light over the back) then flicked them off as I got airborne.
The turns with the trimmers off are quick and the glider gets well banked up even with only moderate brake inputs.
This glider is going to be a heap of fun in all wind conditions!
I couldn't stop grinning for an hour after each flight. (Maybe it is even better than my Boomerang).
